Bluford, Bristo. (Col'd)

States, that immediately after the surrender, some Cavalry at Farmville, Va., gave him one horse and one mule, that were unfit for service. States that about one month after, the horse was taken from him by John R. Gillam, and the mule by Baker Davis; the Horse was taken from J. R. Gillam by Maj. Jordan and given to Richard Burton, (Col'd), who sold it for $100.

The Mule, Baker Davis yet has.
