I Daniel Boland of Bolington in the County of Loudoun and State of Virginia Farmer do make and publish this my last will and testament hereby revoking and making void all former wills by me at any time heretofore made. And first I direct that my body be deposited in the garden attached to my residence until such times as it may be removed to the burial ground of the Catholic Church at Petersville in the County of Frederick Md

Secondly I give and bequeath to my wife Ann Sophia out of my personal estate the following my black woman Louisa and my girl Cely during her natural life also the following articles, Two Ottomans one piano and stool six silver tea spoons two salt spoons, two plated candlesticks, twelve quilts one white counterpane, three feather Beds with the clothing and steads one easy chair, one dozen knives and forks one carving knife and fork. The residue of my personal estate including the rest of my slaves I direct to be sold as soon after my decease as my Executors may deem advisable and after paying all my just debts including Funeral expenses to pay over to my daughter Elly in the Carmelite Convent in Baltimore Md fifteen hundred dollars as her share in my entire estate and the balance of my personal estate of every description including negroes (sold) I direct to be divided equally between my following named children, Mary Haney, Ann Jane Baker, Thomas P. Boland, John Boland William F Boland Sophia M Boland and Elizabeth F Boland.
