Sir;
While coming from Washington to Richmond about two weeks ago, en route to Charleston, my wife, myself, and our little boy, were put out by force of the First Class Car on the Richmond & Fredericksburg Road, although we had Government Transportation, which of course was First Class, and was so received everywhere during 3000 miles we travelled this summer except on that Road.
This outrage was most mortifying, and rendered doubly so, as my wife and infant
