Minor said "I don't care a damned, and give you five minutes to get away from here, or I will give -- (a neighbor) the chance of making your coffin." John started to go, but Minor's father called him back and told him not to go, as the place was his. John then came back; was struck over the head by Minor with a pinepole. Minor's father said to John "John, if you take that, you will take anything" Minor started for the house to get his gun to shoot John and his father.
