one month prior to his Compulsory dissolution, the accounts stood as follows according to the bookeepers Statement

from the above figures it shows that the Concern owed me the legal sum of Forty eight hundred dollars one month prior to our separation, in lieu of which through his threats of Civil Jurisdiction I was oblidged to accept under protest the sum of twenty five hundred dollars rather than loose all.

I beg to request if not your assistance at this time at least your advice, so as that I may be enabled to procure the services of some loyal attorney to properly represent the Case before the Civil authorities, ere it is necessary to appeal to the proper representatives of our Government at whose hands I trust I will receive Justice only,
