To Brevt. Brig. Genl. O. Brown A.A.G. Genl - I respectfully apply for the restoration of a tract of land in Loudoun County Virginia belonging to me, heretofore libelled & condemned in the U.S. Court for the Eastn. Dist of Va - and turned over to the Bureau of Refugees, Freedmen & abandoned lands - which suit was dismissed by order of record in said Court & the Costs therein, paid by me as shown by the duly certified Copy of the record of Court & the receipt W.H. Berry Clerk of 2d Dist Ct. herewith filed - The land is described in the papers of 2d Lieut as follows, "a ' Piece or parcel of land, about one & a half mile East of Aldie, Situate, lying & being in the County of Loudoun, in the Eastern District of Virginia - and bounded as follows - On the North by the Little River Turnpike on the East by the Carolina Road Jonathan beans land,on the south by the Carolina Road & the Aldie & Centreville Road, and on the West by the land of A Zerega - Containing Two Hundred & fifty Acres more or less" I have taken the Amnesty oath as will appear from the certificate of W B Price Chief Justice of Fayette County in Texas - (of which State I am now a resident .) herewith filed. I also file herewith a Certificate from the Clerk of the County Court of Loudoun that the records of the said County Court show that I am the owner of [[?]] land Respectfully Robert A. Job (of Texas) by Jno. M. Orr his atty.
