I have the honor to report the prosecution as far as it has went, of the rioters on the 12th Dec. 1866, at Shandy Hall, Richmond Co., of which I have made a report to you before and received instructions. It has not been in my power to conform to your instructions on account of my not having a horse to visit certain parties, and although they have been notified several times that I wished to see them, they have not as yet made their appearance. 

The civil authorities on the 13th inst. (the Constable of the Farnham district of Richmond Co.,) had a negro man named John Corbin arrested and brought to Warsaw for trial, on the charge that Corbin drew a pistol (over)
