Maj:
In behalf of the Methodist Colored Church of this place, I have the honor to request permission to turn over to them one of the unoccupied buildings at the Hospital Grounds at this Post. - There is sufficient material in the building proposed to be donated to this congregation to enable them to erect a commodious church building adapted to Church Sunday School, and if necessary, Day School purposes. - At present they have no desirable building, in fact have only a temporary arrangement of which they are liable to be deprived at any moment. I earnestly recommend this arrangement believing it to be promotive of great good to the Freedmen.
Respectfully
Your Obt Sevt
