Newtown 25, and Millers 25 scholars each. Land, timber and labor could be furnished by the Freedmen at all of these places.
Fourth Division-
There are no schools in operation in this Division. Lower Farnum Baptist Society Richmond Co. have procured land and commenced building a house - one hundred dollars would greatly assist these people in their new enterprise. Over 100 scholars would attend this school. Rappahannock Baptist Society have the land - no building. 100 scholars would attend school, -- Baptist Society have one acre of land - house under way - 50 scholars need some assistance. About 100 Dollars. A society at Oak Grove Westmoreland County, are about to purchase a church for church and school purposes paying the sum of $250.00 about 100 scholars. A school is needed at the Hague. 100 scholars would attend at this place. Land, timber and labor would be furnished by the freedmen, need some funds.
Fifth Division-
There is one school in operation in this Division taught by a Lady from N.Y. who came there and commenced it upon her own responsibility
