was that Hudson came to his death by the blow inflicted by Tallaiferro, and a warrant issued for Tallaiferro's arrest.  Tallaiferro in the meantime came to Bowling Green for advice and gave himself up.  The Magistrates by whom the case was examined found Tallaiferro Guilty of "Voluntary Manslaughter" and held him to bail in One thousand (his own bond for Five hundred and a bail of Five hundred), to stand his trial.  He will be examined by the coming County Court, and if sufficient cause be seen he will be sent on to the Circuit Court.

I would have reported this case officially before as you desired - but was confined to my bed.  I am yet unfit to be out of it
