In reply to yours of the 10th. Inst. in reference to the establishment of an Industrial school, I have the honor to state.
1st.  There are probably about 100 women, who have been helped to clothing, and who draw rations, willing and capable of sewing.
2d I have a Building, connected with L. Overture [[L'Ouverture]], Hospital, which could be used for that purpose.  It would require, partitions, tables, and benches, and some repairs, would cost about $250.
3d. Mrs. Fisher is absent in New York.  She will return in a few days. I think she would be willing to take charge of the Industrial School provided she could have one white Asst. which would cost for Mrs. Fisher Supt in addition to her other duties. $25.00.
