I have the honor to enclose forwarded report of Lieut H.L. Hunt and copy of endorsement by which above report passes through this office. General Willcox forwards this merely to show that he has examined it But is desirous that he may continue to be informed of the changes etc of Bureau officers as stated in accompanying endorsements. Shall Capt Austin be advised to discontinue compliance with directions of endorsement, under the recent changes in Bureau affairs?
