At the regular meeting of the Faculty of Washington College, held March 25th 1867, the following action was taken:

It having come to the knowledge of the Faculty that certain students of this College were guilty of such misconduct as to disturb the Colored School in Lexington, on the evening of Friday, 22nd. inst, it was

Resolved:  That the clerk be instructed to write to the conductors of the Colored School in Lexington, to express the regret of the the Faculty at the recent misconduct of the part of certain students, disturbing the operations of their school: and to assure them of the readiness of the Faculty to do all in their power to prevent such occurrences, whenever the facts shall become to their knowing.

Resolved further:  That a copy of the above resolution be communicated to Capt. Sharp, Asst. Com'r F.B.
