Messrs. Fluwellen, Hardeman, W. Wellborn and Terry, having been reported as parties engaged in the disturbance above referred to, (Vis. preceding action,) and as having been bound over to keep the peace, by the civil authorities, the Faculty were informed that Mr. J. A. McNeill was ready to take upon himself the responsibility and blame of said disturbance. 

Mr. McNeill then appeared before the Faculty and acknowledged his misconduct: it was therefore

Resolved: That Mr. McNeill be dismissed from College: and that Messrs. Flewellen, Hardeman, W. Wellborn & Terry be admonished for being present"
