place to stay, as she can not get employment in consequence of her condition, and the feebleness of her health, which is such as to require continual medical treatment in sum Hospital. She says that she is with child by one J. R. Craver, a white man of this county, but as there can be no action taken against him until she is delivered of the child, I se no other mean for her support than to send her to a Hospital where she can be properly treated. After the child is born, there is no doubt, in my opinion, that the father, Craver, can be made to support it, by the laws of this state.

This girl would excite pity in the breast of any person with human feelings, I, therefore, trust that this application may receive your approval.
