Blacklock was kind enough to act as my Agt Until
22,,Jan 7,, 1867 _ I appointed Mr. J. A. Stautenburgh
of Alex as my Agent, (I am Suse W. S. will do me the 
favor to confirm what I say in reference to him)

never abandoned by me W.S. continued to act as
my Sgt. [{?}] you were appointed my Agt. in 1865
(in person) and all other taxes refer to this date. [{?}]
[{?}] Moon & Bro. are willing to State, that my mill 
was in good order when Cal,, Farnsworth [{?}]
Alexandria with his cavalry and took [{?}]
of my mill house and Col. that was in Feb 1862,
he (Col. [{?}]) made a stable and BlackSmiths
Ship of the Mill, and during the time Col. F,,
have charged of it, nearly every thing in and outside
 of the house was destroyed, and when he left Alex
=andria, the Controbands took change of it, W. Stou
[{?}] [{?}] to me he tryed to get the [{?}] and 
also damages from the Government but failed.
$4000 will not [{?}] my [{?}], and I think
when Col. [{?}] and understands my statement
he will decide that I have badly treated
