Mr. Wattles I leave the matter in your hands, I have written a plain statement of facts above concerning my mill property, I hope you will be able to satisfy the Col. that what I have said is true &c, and hope you will succeed in getting some little compensation from the Govt for my loss &c, if you wish any other information, write and let me know. I will endeavor to give it.
