at the bonds and made no objections to them at the time. The hopper was about empty and he went down stairs to fill [[strikethrough]]the[[/strikethrough]] a [[strikethrough]] bags [[/strikethrough]] bag of meal, laying the boards in the window until he came back. I went down with him and asked him if any farther writing would be required in that matter He said no. And then asked when I wanted possession. I told him New Year morning. He then asked me if I would want possession of the house. I told him I / was not particular about the house and would give him time to get away, would give him four or five weeks to attend to his business, sell off his stock provided he would board my miller until he left; he said very well that he would do that. I then told him that I was on my way to Fairfax that I would be back to take possession on New Years Day morning but did not get back until New Years Evening. New Years Evening I came by the mill Mrs Tracy was standing down [[strikethrough]]by[[/strikethrough]] at the fence near the storehouse when I rode up. I asked her where French Walker was the miller I had hired She told me he had not come she expected he was up at the Squires up on the mountain I then went on telling her that I would be there early in the morning which I was. I came down [[strikethrough]] earlier [[/strikethrough]] soon after next morning Mr Walker still was not yet there. I asked Mr Tracy if he would run the mill for me until I could go after him, he (Tracy) said yes he would, that he would not let any bags pass. I then went up and saw Mr Walker and he promised to be better soon next morning. I came down soon next morning and Mr Walker was there That was Wednesday morning I think she & him worked together until Saturday.
