Captain:
I have the honor to apply for authority to lease the following named and described property: One room, for my office, sixteen (16) feet wide, and twenty (20) long, owned by Mrs M.L. Edwards at a cost of ten dollars (10) per month.

One room, used for Freedmens School sixteen (16) feet wide and twenty two (22) feet long, owned by M.E. Church Society, at a cost of four dollars and sixteen cts $4.16 per month.

One small stable, in which a U.S. horse, in my possession, is kept, the same being the property of Thornton Jones, at a cost of two dollars $2.00 per month.

All of the above described property is situated in this Town and indispensable to the use of this Bureau.
