three male adults, all crippled in various degrees, and wholly unable to work for a living, and one female adult the mother of two of the children mentioned. 
Of the Whites there are (10), four female adults, one blind, one aged, and two the mothers of four children who are with them, also two male adults, one being blind, and both very aged. 
The Poor House is in a dilapidated condition, some of the windows being without lights, but lately an appropriation of $1,791.00 has been made by the County Court for the support of the Poor House, out of which $140.00 were set side for repairs, some of which are at present being made. If proper arrangements were made, about (10) more of each class could be accomodated in the apartments set apartments set apart for their respective uses. Sufficient food is supplied to all, the quality of which is a fair average of that used by the poorer class in the County, but the bedding is scant and inadequate to prevent suffering in severe weather. 
On the whole I believe that great improvement could and should be made in the general-arrangement of the institution, regarding -
