I have the honor to state, relative to Copy of Letter of date the 6th Inst. (?), from the Office of the Chf. Qtr. Master and Disbursing Officer, B.R. & C. of Va. received the 15th instant through you, that no Buildings or rooms have been hired by the Bureau in my Division since February the 1st 1867.
The one Room which is now used by me as an Office at this place was first rented by the Bureau to date from the 1st of August 1866, which was duly approved by the Asst. Commissioner.
This Room is located near the Franklin Hotel, on the main Street, in the Village of Rocky Mount,-is 14 by 15 feet large, and is heated by means of a brick chimney and open fire place.
