1864 for $50 to be paid in Confederate Money the only money then in circulation in the state.  That is the rents for the years 1862, 1863 1864 the rent for 1861 and the money for the corn was rec'd by me in good money.  I again rented the land to the said Bently for the year 1865 for $25 to be paid in green-backs.  The rent for the year 1861 and the money for the corn as also the rent for the year 1865 I have already settled and paid Geo. Parker which I am prepared to show.  The rents for the years 1862, 1863, 1864 I rec'd in Confederate Money and am ready to pay over at any time.  I hope the foregoing statement of facts will prove satisfactory, if not I am ready and willing at any time you may appoint to meet you at Pow: C. House V verify it, and satisfactorly explain all my relations as the Guardian of the children of Lucy Honell (Geo. Parkers wife)
