This case is but another manifestation of the bad feeling engendered by the action of the Baltimore Conference in claiming the church property in the Valley of Virginia and sending down ministers to take possession of it - and I hope that Genl Schofield - or some other authority - will soon dispose of the matter by settling the dispute in such a manner that it may cause me no further trouble -
