1st 1867. The school at Warrenton is doing well, but its course has been marked by the fruit of the adversity of the people, and though more schools are needed, I doubt if it would be possible to keep a teacher in them unless the school was located in some village, where the people would be able to protect him. There are no dependents on the Bureau in this county.
