In compliance with Circular Letter from Head Quarters Asst. Com'r. Dis't. of Va. dated Richmond, Va. Oct. 30th 1867, I have the honor to report that although there have been reports of colored employe's being discharged for exercising the elective franchise unsatisfactorily to their employers, proof of the same has only been obtained in two cases both in Fauquier Co. one Robert Hart, a Justice of the Peace living near Lee Springs, discharged Sandy Gordon colored the other John L Faut, Agent at the Depot at Warrenton discharged Thompson Wanzer colored, who carried the mail from the Depot to the Post Office.  No other cases have been proved in the 10th Sub-District.  Enclosed please find reports of A.S.A. Comr's. for the several Divisions.
