12. What efforts are you making to secure the support of the schools by pupils, parents, boards of education, or the State government? I am trying to interest the heads of families and property owners in the case by placing it before them in the proper light.

13. Whole number of additional School-houses, for Freedmen, now wanted in your Sub-District? 0 

14. Could you organize Sub-District into School Districts, each with a School Committee pledged to carry on school therein? Cannot

15. To what extent would help from without be needed in such cases? Entire

16. What is the public sentiment as to the education of the Freedmen and Poor Whites? Strong opposition upon the part of the majority of resident whites to the education of freedmen

17. Are Night-Schools for Adults needed in your District?  In what way could be carried on? by the government or aid societies paying all expenses

18. What more can this Bureau do for education the children of Refugees (or Poor Whites)? There are very few poor whites in my District and they are very much scattered

19. How long with Northern charitable aid be need for Freedmen and Refugee Schools of your District? Cannot tell
