11. Remarks Twenty three days were devoted to the duties incumbent upon preceptor & pupil in the school room during the calendar month just ended. Unusual interest has been manifested by a majority of the pupils, and the advancement made is indeed gratifying. Encourageing us to renewed effort, and inspiring us with the hope that with earnest & persevering labor we will be enabled to place Lincoln Academy in the very front rank of schools in the state.
