Sir,
Your letter of the 9th Inst. to W.H. Wales, Inasurer of "The Norfolk Building Fund Association", in regards to the property on Charlotte Street, occupied by Mrs Messick, has been considered, and, as President of that Association, I am directed to make, as I now do, the proper application for its restoration.- I enclose herewith a certified copy of the deed under which the same is held by the Association, showing that, under the laws of this State, the legal [[page torn]] the said property, is in the trustees named in said deed, who hold it for the benefit of the said Association, in the success and prosperity of which many females and infants are largely interested, and I must beg, therefore, that you will attend to the matter without delay.
