State of Virginia, Accomack County, to wit: 
I John W. Gillet Clerk of the Court of the County of Accomack in the State of Virginia, certify that it appears from the Records of my Office, that Mary Moars, widow of D., was in the year 1860, assessed as the fee simple owner of a certain track or parcel of land, situated in the Parish of Accomack, in said County containing eighteen (18.) Acres, North 11 miles from the Court House, valued at Twelve Dollars ($12.) per acre, making the aggregate valuation Two hundred and sixteen Dollars ($216.) I further certify, that the said tract of land is at present assessed to George Mayfield, who istomarried with the said Mary Moars.
In Testimony, whereof, I have hereunto set my hand and affixed the seal of the said Court, this 21st day of December, A.D. one thousand eight hundred and sixty six.

Confirmed Accomack is a county in Va. Difficult to distinguish a /t/ from a /d/ at the end of words. /t/ will angle and loop more to the left before swooping down. Note: the word “assessed” (which appears twice) uses what look like a flourished p/B in the script, which could be a Germanic eszett letter, denoting a double s.
