General:-  I have the honor to request Transportation for Thos. Jefferson, from Gordonsville Va, to Richmond Va, to enable him to make temporary provision for his family untill such time as his presence will be Required at Louisa C House. He Sayes they are likely to suffer unless he can give them aid.

I would respectfully inform you in connection with his case, that warrants have been issued for the Arrest of Sixteen of the parties engaged in the Riot by Mr Gordon, the Commonwealth's Attorney, Louisa Co. and that every thing will be done that can be, to bring them to a speedy trial.
