Major
I have the honor to request information in reference to judgments rendered in Freedmens Court where the judgment has not been entirely executed viz. case. Reuben and Yancy Coleman (col'd) vs. James Griffin white all of Culpeper Co. Va. tried in Freedmans Court at Culpeper CH Va of which Lieut W.S. Chase was President, giving judgment for Plaintiffs amtg to $60.00 dollars. Only about one half was paid. I have endeavored to get a settlement but have failed. I wish to know whether an order would be issued for the execution of said judgment in full or whether the entire case is to revert to the civil authorities to enable the parties to get the balance referred to

I am Maj
Very Respectfully Your obt Servt
