Major:- Susan Prescott, a freed woman, states that her husband went away in January, to Gordonsville. She is informed that he is now in Warrenton. His name is Henry Prescott.
Susan has two chidren living - Henry's children - one of whom is sick.
Henry left on a day when his rent was due, to go to Gordonsville, and was to return the next day. Has never com back. His wife wants him to come back, or send her some money.
