I immediately went there and the disturbance was over. The soldiers there were Private King Corp. Moore & Privates Boyle & McCann, don't recollect whether Sergt Shaw was there. Col Jordan was there, Capt Knight was there, Steven Hopkins steward Freedmens Bureau was there. No col'd men there at that time. There were several white men citizens whose names I dont know. -

King Boyle & McCann were under the influence of liquor: excited. Col Jordan ordered all the soldiers to go to camp which they did I walking after them. I did not arest them I was the only one outside of the party. After arrival at camp they were not placed in arest to my knowledge.

Abt 10 minutes after I arrived at camp which was abt 9 oclock I returned to town in command of patrol. Seven or eight men. Saw no soldiers
