Robert F Henry Private Co. D. 21st Infty

Am Co Baker. On Tuesday Morning last I was at a Grocery store close by Fauque's House abt 10 O'clock between 9 & 10 - The first I saw of disturbance was front of Buck's house on his pavement. I saw Sergt Shaw and Private Parker following a man who had a pistol. I heard a pistol fire and saw Parker fall on the pavement. I wasn't close enough to see the first part of the disturbance and I was in the store at that time. The man who had the pistol I think was a white man, he might have been a yellow man, certainly was not black. Immediately after this the patrol came, and the row was stopped.
