Respectfully returned to Bvt Lt Col James Johnson S. A. C with the following report. Upon investigation I find the girl Ann Murry is with her father, Mrs Hortense Andrews repeatedly told her she could leave at anytime she wished to so, Mrs A expresses herself as very glad that Ann has left, and her intention of never taking her back again, Mrs A. was never applied to by anyone for the girl, and the girls father lived with Mrs. A, the last year - From all information I could get I find Mrs A. & family are very humane and treated the girl well
