The enclosed endorsement of Capt Austin, on my letter to him in reference to the money turned over to him to be paid to Priv Louis Tazal, Co A 10th U.S.C.T. (now deceased) respectfully referred to you.  As the money and discharge for said Tazal are now in the hands of Bvt Maj Geo. Q. White, Chief Q.M. of the Bureau, and as I have, by direction of the War Department, recently paid this amt out of my own pocket, I respectfully ask that said money and discharge be turned over to me.
