Major - In the case of the Fraction Boys, reported to you on the 14th inst. I have the honor to make the following additional statement. On this date the parties had a hearing before Squire Snidow, Justice of the Peace for the County; and after hearing the evidence of Mr Preston and one witness for the prosecution, and two for the defendents, decided to hold them for trial, at the March term of the Montgomery County Court - which convenes on the first Monday in March - but released them from confinement, on their giving security for one hundred dollars each, for their appearance at the time specified.
