Rapheal Brown:  States that he was hired by John C. Austin to work on Government Saw Mill on Taylor Farm Norfolk County Va. from May 1st 1864 to November 30th 1865 at (10) ten dollars per month & that he has received but (50) fifty dollars,for the whole of above time.  $9.20 transffd to Capt Hayt

David Foster:  States that he was hired by John C. Austin, Supt Govt Saw Mill on Taylor Farm Norfolk County Va. to work on said Mill from April 1st 1864 to August 31st 1865 at (10) ten dollars per month & that he has received but (70) Seventy dollars for the whole of above time.

Austin Pryor:  States he was employed by Capt O. Brown A.Q.M. to work in Commissary Dept at Norfolk City Va. from March 1st 1864 to June 1st 1865 at (20) twenty dollars per month & that he has received but (20) twenty dollars for whole of above time.

Barns, States that he was hired by Capt Martin Wood to work on U.S. Transport Steamer Long Branch at Buranuda hundreds from April 1st 1864 to June 15th 1864 at 25)twenty five dollars per month & that on 16 of June 1864 he was hired by Capt O. Brown A.Q.M. to work on Steamer Charles Chamberlin
