girl very sick, had been delerious but was quite sane that day, and the prospects for her recovery were good.  The Doctor who attended her came while I was there.  She was in a good room and nice clean bed Mrs. Robertson was faithfully standing over her with a pan, and in fact she appeared to be more comfortable and better cared for, than any colored person I have yet seen in Virginia.

I would respectfully recommend that the petition of Mrs. Robertson be granted, if possible.

I was also informed that Lee is now living with a second wife, had since he had the mother of these children.
