In compliance with your instructions contained in endorsement on enclosed paper to make an investigation and report on the condition of Affairs on Taylor Farm referred to in the Statement of Dr Sterling I have the honor to Submit the following    The Bureau rendered the Same aid to the poor on Taylor Farm as was given all other indigent colored people in this County.

Early in April last I visited the Farm and inspected the condition of the people making a list of all those whom I thought were entitled to support under existing Orders, requisitions were made for rations but many of these for whom they were made never came or sent for them.  Clothing was and is still issued to those unable to provide it otherwise.  I know nothing of the selling of clothing charged.  None has been sold since I assumed charge of this Division.
