Troops both a Harry Brown (enlisted at Newport News Va. Jany 23rd 1865, died October 26th 1865) and a Henry Brown (enlisted at Newport News Va, Jan 23rd 1865) This record is to be found in a history of the Regiment written by Bvt Brig Genl Goff the former commander of the Regt. and was probably taken from the rolls of the company. Mr. C.C. Brown Agt of Wolf, Hart and Co, in this City is unable to tell whether he has paid Henry Brown or not, but has written to Wolf, Hart and Co in reference to the matter. Any further information obtained in regard to the matter will be forwarded at once.
