I have the honor to inform you. that I have this day forwarded Per R. & D. R. R. Co. Two cases of fire arms of various descriptions, collected from the residents of this County, by the Civil Authorities, and turned over to the Asst Supidt, by the Sheriff of this County.

Authority for receiveing and forwarding them was received in an endorsement from Hd Qrs Asst Com'sr Oct 31st 1866.

I am informed by the Sheriff, that in course of two weeks, he will turn over to me 25 more Arms, transportation for which I have already on hand.  They will be forwarded as soon as received.
