I have to day learned the residence of M.L. Skinner who is still in the city. A boy brought a Telegram to my house to day - & gave as a reason why he could not drop it in the office as I suggested, that it was from a gentleman at City Point requesting him to meet him this day and go to Norfolk. I did not ask who sent it. It was directed to her at "Mrs. Browns", and I went there - (the colored woman of whom they rented the house at 26th & Clay) hoping to hear of her  There I saw
