I have the honor to request transportation and admission into the Howard Grove Hospital at Richmond Va for a certain Freedman of this County named  Washington Hill (this is his name in full) - who is insane and has no one to take proper care of him - 
I cannot get admission for him with the insane asylum at Staunton - as that institution is full - 
Transportation is desired from the Canal Landing (James River) near Lexington Va to Richmond Va for Washington and also for his son-in-law Alexander Rawlings (cold) - Also transportation for the latter from Richmond back to James River Canal Landing near Lexington -
