Lt & Asst Sub Asst Comr Statement of the indebtedness of Dr. R. A. Gholson to Armstead Abernathy, cold, which cannot be collected by reason of the former having made a deed of trust of his property to a near relative who has since died. It was understood between the parties previous to decease of trustee that Abernathy should be paid from the proceeds of plantation, which the executor refuses to do. Part of cotton crop yet remaining unsold, wishes to know if the Military Authorities will not interfere and dispose of the same to settle this debt. [[stamp]] STATE OF VIRGINIA. BUREAU OF R.F & A.L.
