I, John J Berry do certify that William P. Taylor whose name is signed to the writing above, bearing date on the 7th day of December 1867 acknowledged the same before me. Given under my hand this 7th day of December 1867.

We J.J. Berry & C.C. Welford justices of the peace for the County aforesaid, do certify that Elizabeth the wife of William P. Taylor, whose names are signed to the writing above, bearing date on the 7th day of December 1867 personally appeared before us in our County aforesaid and being examined by us privily & apart from her husband, and having the writing aforesaid fully explained to her, she the said Elizabeth acknowledged the said writing to be her act and declared that she had willingly executed the same and that she does not wish to retract it. Given under our hands this 7th day of December 1867.
