Dear Genl, 

Enclosed please find Application of Edward Williams, Brother of Joseph Malary dec'd, which we are requested by Edw'd Williams to forward to you, for collection.  He requests that the Retained Bounty be sent to Major Remington S.A. Com We shall be obliged to you if you will advise me in regard to this claim.

We beg leave to acknowledge receipt of yours of 23d inst - advising remittance of checks, favor of Samuel Borby & Chas Young.
