Genl. - I have the honor to enclose Application of Nelson King, father of Forest King dec'd late a Priv in Co G. 38th Regt U.S. Col'd Infantry, for his son's Ret'd Bounty, who wishes the same deposited with Maj J. H. Remington S.A.C. &c. at this place. I am requested also, by Miles Buttz, late of Co B. 38th U.S.C.T. who enlisted Sept 19th 1864, to ask you if any action had been taken in his claim for Ret'd Bounty, forwarded to you some weeks ago.
