Major
I have the honor to acknowledge the receipt of your communication of this day, inviting my attention to the Endorsement of Bvt. Brig. Genl. O. Brown in case of Nelson King and would respectfully report, that according to the best information I can get - from the identifying witness in this case - Frank King's Mother & father belonged to the same person, before the war, and have lived together since their marriage and are still living together as man & wife - and from my own personal knowledge they are very respectable persons,
I am Major
Very Respectfully
Your Obt. Servt.
