Roan in the Court of Concilliation tomorrow morning at 10 oClock. Captain Inquiry has been made from Maj Genl Howards Head Quarters concerning the whereabouts of Jas & Rebecca Woods (Husband and wife) Penny, Clarissa, Thomas and Manuel Wood, (their children) They were formerly owened by Wm. Wood of Edenton N.C. and are Supposed to be in Some of the villages established by Gov't for benefit of Freedmen possibly in Petersburg - You will please cause proper inquiries to be made within - Your District and report the Same to this office, By order of.
